At PCMA Convening Leaders in Dallas, January 10-13, Destination Marketing Association International's (DMAI) empowerMINT.com team unveiled a new online application called Planner Access, granting meeting professionals access to review their empowerMINT.com post-event reports.

"DMAI is committed to accurate post-event report data," said Michael Gehrisch, DMAI President and CEO. "With Planner Access, planners are officially part of the post-event process for the first time and can ensure the accuracy of their meetings' historical data."

Planner Access is part of empowerMINT.com's ongoing efforts for complete and accurate data. Meeting planners can now register on empowerMINT.com to view and discuss their meeting histories. This will result in...

• Cleaner contact information
• Increased industry awareness of empowerMINT.com
• More accurate post-event reports

Once registered, meeting planners will have access to view any recent (within the last 18 months) histories for which they are the primary contact. If they believe their post-event report details are inaccurate, they have the opportunity open a discussion with the DMO that entered the history, with the ability to post comments or upload attachments about the meeting. Only the DMO can change the history.

"We are extremely excited to bring to the industry this process, as it addresses an important concern that many planners expressed in the past, which was to ensure the data accurately reflects their event," said Christine Shimasaki, DMAI's Managing Director of empowerMINT.com.
